The Montgomery Family Papers contain personal and professional correspondence, clippings, publications, photographs, 2 scrapbooks, 4 diaries, 7 videotapes, and 1 yearbook. This collection contains the documents and possessions of several generations of Montgomery family members. Included are items belonging to Katherine W. Montgomery, her sisters Anne B. Montgomery and Mamie L. Montgomery, and her nephew, Edwin F. Montgomery Jr. The scrapbooks and diaries belonged to each of the three sisters and were created during their time at Florida State College for Women or shortly after. The bulk of the collection was collected by Edwin F. Montgomery and documents the life and achievements of Katherine Williams Montgomery. The collection was primarily gathered after Katherine's death and contains mostly materials commemorating her achievements. Included are photographs, videotapes, speeches, and publications from Florida State University events that commemorated Katherine. The collection contains a large amount of material from the 1998 Emeritus Alumni Society Weekend at Florida State University.
