This folder consists of eight letters, one Christmas card, and eight family photographs sent from Ashton and Winifred Mayhall who lived in Warrington, England near Base Air Depot 1 at Burtonwood. The Mayhall's befriended Sparkman during his tour at Burtonwood. The letters discuss family news, announcing the birth of their third child Jennifer, and the difficulties faced with continued rationing and food shortages after the war.
