McGaughy, Bill and Robin Collection, Circa 1940s-1960s

Scope and content:

Donated by Bill and Robin McGaughy in 2010, the collection contains 3 processed 8mm film reels (unfortunately, MB_03 was damaged). The films were created by McGaughy's father during his service as a merchant marine either during or post-Second World War. The content includes travels to San Diego, Honolulu, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and New York City, family interactions and visitations to the "Berry Schools" as well as boarding the USS Constitution in Boston Harbor, and SS Robert E. Clarkson transporting cargo in the Atlantic (notably a variant of the M4 Sherman tank).
