Two framed photo composites of the FSU Student Government Association

This collection contains a selection of business letters that serve as examples of early business letterheads from various places in Florida. They are quite elaborate and contain pictures, maps and extensive advertising. They are from different towns and cities in Florida and date from 1879-1896. The letters are mostly to W.D. Bloxham and W.D. Barnes, both comptrollers for the state of Florida. Barnes was comptroller from 1881-1890 and Bloxham from 1890-1897.

While the Adams Brothers Store Ledger covers only a brief period of the existence of this business (1898-1899), it documents the operations of a late 19th and early 20th Century mercantile store in north Florida. It is significant to researchers studying North Florida's economic history during this period.

The collection contains files from the Yellowback Library, including items on Children's Literature, authors, correspondence, newspaper clippings, popular culture, artists and illustrators, and some legal documents.

Collection includes handmade, bound books of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry written and illustrated by elementary school children (grades kindergarten to 5).
