Collections

The bulk of this collection consists of printed materials, such as papers, memoranda, course syllabi and course materials written by Dr. Arnade.  There is also an autobiography and interview documenting Dr. Arnade's personal life.  The largest percentage of materials encompasses Dr. Arnade's forty-plus years as professor at the University of South Florida. Also accompanying the papers are publications written by Dr. Arnade that were removed from their original source to be added to the collection.

The materials in this collection reflect the subject's interest in Allied leaders of World War II, specifically Dwight D. Eisenhower and Winston S. Churchill. It includes news articles, photos & ephemera from the Eisenhower Historic Site in Gettysburg, PA, and books by and about Eisenhower and Churchill.
