Collection focuses on Peter Demens, the founder of St. Petersburg, Florida, and the relations between the two sister cities of St. Petersburg in Florida and Russia since 1966.
The Burnap Cottage, under restoration, is part of the construction underway at the Sanibel Historical Village and Museum. The cottage was being restored to its original 1898 dimensions. In the 1940s a second story was added to the winter cottage.
