The materials in this collection primarily consist of playbills, showbills, and programs that range from the mid-to-late 20th century and are primarily from the personal collection of Louis Miano. However, the contents are compiled from multiple collections of the same scope. There is a large collection of playbills, showbills, and programs from theater and opera in Miami and South Florida, as well as from across the United States and Europe. The collection also contains magazines, ephemera, and other materials related to musical theater in the United States and Europe.

This collection relates to Bert Williamson Webb who served as a Captain in the U.S. Army with the 178th Ordnance Depot Company during World War II in the European Theater of Operations. Webb received a Bronze Star Medal for his service. This collection includes a manuscript memoir of Webb's World War II service in the U.S. Army, photographs, unit history with roster, and pre-war cadet booklet.

This collection includes the scrapbook and journal from her bike trip, family photos, and correspondence from various stages of her life. Also included are projector slides, Sierra Club awards, an energy map of Southwest Florida, posters, bumper stickers, Happehatchee flyers, and pictures of her Florida home, which later became a part of Happehatchee. The largest part of this collection is the newspapers documenting her effort to save the planet.

This collection encompasses various materials produced by or written on the Florida Citrus Mutual organization. It has a wide date range, with files beginning in the 1930s, and ending in the early 2000s. It includes records of legal issues, including tariffs and regulatory laws. It also includes several business files, from meeting accounts to associate records to statistics reports to marketing materials. It has the 1987-2002 Market News Bulletin for the organization. It also contains three boxes of photographs, which largely feature members of the organization.

Southwest Florida (SWFL) has a unique environmental ecosystem consisting of preserves, sanctuaries, swamps, estuaries, and coastlines. The Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council Collection offers an extensive array of documents, reports, maps, and materials documenting the development and conservation of the SWFL region from the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council.

This collection consists of documents regarding Florida Gulf Coast University's accrediation through Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), including but not limited to, committee reports, handbooks, policies, procedures and accredidation applications,reports, and correspondences.

This collection contains annual membership and meeting records, photographs, newspapers, magazines, newspaper clippings, audio/visual materials, and photographs of PRVCGA members, events, businesses, and workshops. Any newspaper or magazine articles that mentioned PRVCGA or Barbara Carlton (formerly Barbara Oxford) are included in this collection as either loose clippings or part of the scrapbook. Most of the photographs are candids of events and meetings, however there are several official portraits as well.

The Susan Evans Papers include various materials surrounding her long serving term, such as items from Florida Gulf Coast University founding, campus planning, history, and athletics. Forms of media included text, photographs, VHS tapes, physical objects and letters. Topics and subjects range from University Groundbreaking to Susan Evans's time as a Vice President. The first part of this collection includes Series Athletics, Campus Planning, History and one Sub-Series Objects and Ephemera. The second part of her collection includes Series Early Years, Presidential Search, Events, FGCU Early Years Event Photography. The third and last part of this collection is, FGCU VHS Collection, Charlotte County Site Selection, Football Feasibility Study, FGCU News Article Releases.
