The collection consists of interviews, reports, news articles, and assorted materials that pertain to the Key West and Tampa Bay areas from the 1900s- 2010s.
Interviews conducted with Tampa Mayor Sandy Freedman's administration conducted by political scientist Dr. Robert Kerstein, who taught at the University of Tampa until roughly 2015. The findings from the interviews were incorporated into Kerstein's 2001 book, "Politics and Growth in Twentieth-Century Tampa."
