A collection of photographs taken by the Ensminger Brothers in Florida while soldiers trained before sailing to Cuba to fight in the Spanish American War. The photographs in this collection were later purchased by Sarah Criggal and her sister, who were visiting Florida from Britain.
This collection consists of ten letters sent or received by a United States soldier for the months of July and August in 1898. Each letter has been affixed to a sheet which identifies the origin and contents of the letter with some sheets having multiple letters affixed to them.
