The materials in this collection reflect the subject's work in citrus fruit research. Of special note are the bound logs used by the research stations. Also present are articles published by the subject as well as correspondence. A small number of slides and lecture materials are also available.

The HCCGA records include photographs, annual meeting reports, newsletters, and memorabilia. The annual meeting reports date from 1949 to 2009 and include general financial reports to the membership. Memorabilia includes baseball caps, tie pins, drink coasters, and sunglasses. There are VHS tapes with marketing materials, and several oversized copies of newspaper articles. There are also crate labels.

This collection contains annual membership and meeting records, photographs, newspapers, magazines, newspaper clippings, audio/visual materials, and photographs of PRVCGA members, events, businesses, and workshops. Any newspaper or magazine articles that mentioned PRVCGA or Barbara Carlton (formerly Barbara Oxford) are included in this collection as either loose clippings or part of the scrapbook. Most of the photographs are candids of events and meetings, however there are several official portraits as well.
