This is a postcard featuring an illustration of the First Baptist Church located in Fort Myers, Florida. The back of the postcard is inscribed and has a postmark dated September 29, 1947. The inscription reads, "Notice my new address. I like sea pictures, churches, dogs, etc. - The hurricane was a wonderful but awful experience."

An interior view of the original part of the Sanibel Community Church, built in 1917. The non-denominational church was the only one on Sanibel for many years. Sanibel's first church, built on the Gulf of Mexico at the present Casa Ybel Resort, was destroyed in the 1910 hurricane. Pews and some stained glass from that church were reinstalled in this building when it was constructed.

This is a postcard featuring an illustration of the Methodist Church in Fort Myers, Fla. The back is inscribed and has a postmark dated January 23, 1955. The inscription reads, "Jan. 23, 1955. We attended a new Methodist church today. 800 for the 2nd service. We love it here."
