- Abstract:
- Tampa Palms is located north of the University of South Florida's campus, along Bruce B Downs Street. The area includes homes, shops, offices, churches, schools, and other facilities. The development project began in 1978 and was completed in 1981. The donor of the materials worked with Deltona Corporation, which planned the development of the site. The site consisted of 5,400 acres on either side of State Route 581 between Cypress Creek and Trout Creek.
