This collection covers the sports talk radio career of "The Fabulous Sports Babe" Nanci Donellan from the period of 1992-1998 with articles, media, and ephemera.
- Biographical / historical:
Born in Newton, Massachusetts, Nanci Donnellan got her start in sports talk radio working in Boston and Cape Cod. She would later find herself in Tampa and Seattle before being hired by ESPN Radio, where she hosted The Fabulous Sports Babe to massive acclaim. She would later write her novel, The Babe in Boyland before working for ABC Radio Networks, then several other places before taking a long-term hiatus to deal with health problems. She returned in the mid 2000's before retiring from sports talk in 2014.

The first box of The Fabulous Sports Babe Collection contains articles written about or by Nanci Donnellan, photographs of Donnellan and most of a manuscript of her book, The Babe in Boyland. The second box contains VHS and cassette tapes of her Fabulous Sports Babe radio show and guest spots on other shows. The third and final box is an ephemera box with personalized clothing, jewelry and trading cards.
