The collection includes renderings of land use plans, mass transit and surface road plans; drainage and sewage plans, public hearing drafts, and notes from public hearings. Some printed items and publications have been removed from the collection and cataloged separately.

A significant portion of the collection was transferred from the University of South Florida Library's Government Documents unit. The items noted in the following container listing reflect only a portion of the entire Horizon 2000 project.
