Scope and content:

The collection represents the working papers of this organization. It consists of correspondence, reports and the graphic designs, galleys and other types of material used in the printing of books, graphics and other printed materials.

Biographical / historical:

The Konglomerati Florida Foundation for Literature and the Book Arts, Inc. was incorporated in 1979. It was a non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement and advancement of literacy arts and the history & fine crafts of bookmaking. It was supported in part by grants from the National Endowment of the Arts, B. Dalton Booksellers, Florida Arts Council and the assistance of the Pinellas County Arts Council. The press published mostly poetry chapbooks by United States Poets. In addition to printing and bookmaking, the foundation also held classes on printmaking and writing. It ceased operations in 1988.
