Custodial history:

The records and other papers in this collection were generated by the Ybor City Chamber of Commerce and were part of a body of records stored in the old Centro Español building in Ybor City.  This body of material included records from the Barrio Latino Commission, Latin Quarter Art Gallery, and the Ybor City Rotary Club.  The records were apparently left in the building at the time the Centro Español club moved out in 1983. They were transferred to USF Special Collections in March of 1990 by the Trust for Public Land at the same time as the Centro Español de Tampa Records.

Records are primarily arranged alphabetically by subject. Where applicable, materials pertaining to specific events and festivals have been filed chronologically by date.
