- Biographical / historical:
H. Lee Moffitt was born in Tampa, Florida in 1942. He attended USF and in 1974 was elected to the Florida Legislature where he was elected House Speaker in 1942. The Moffitt Cancer Center was estalished due to his efforts. He is married and has a daughter.
