Scope and content:

This collection includes a manuscript entitled "History of the 38th Air Engineering Squadron" in the Army Air Force in the Pacific. It covers 1940, when training began, to August 1945. The squadron provided 3rd- and 4thechelon aircraft maintenance and other air base services in the Pacific Theater.
