- Biographical / historical:
The Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI) began operations as a residential facility and treatment center. The papers in this collection comprise accreditation and regulation procedures for the Institute, as undertaken through the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services (HRS). The project and compilation of papers were overseen by Jini Hanjian, former Quality Assurance Coordinator and Research Coordinator at the Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI).
