Series V holds correspondence and reports that reflect the variety of matters in which the Vice-President for Administration and Finance is concerned. Budgeting, building development and improvements, finance and accounting, personnel matters, information systems and the UCF police all fall under the purview of this office. Human Resources was formerly known as Personnel Services so both names are included in the folder title. Vice-presidents' files hold information on matters in which John R. Bolte, William Merck and Associate Vice-President Joyce Clampitt were directly involved.

Series V contains correspondence, reports and meeting minutes on business affairs for the University. The series is arranged into subseries, then files are arranged alphabetically. Within the Budget subseries are the meeting minutes of the Academic Budget Council. Buildings and Campus Services contains information on the Physical Plant and the Police Department. The subseries on Finance and Accounting contains policy on computer services and purchasing. The final subseries, Personnel Services, includes correspondence and policy regarding personnel, including the 1979-1980 school year budget for personnel.

The administration files series contains the Urban League of Broward County's annual reports from 1992 to 2012, annual meeting and membership luncheons, and an invitation to the grand opening of the Community Empowerment Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The series is organized alphabetically by title.

As this series grows, it will hold the papers and files of athletic department administrators responsible for the operations of FTU and UCF sports.
