Ruth and Willard Uphaus served as delegates at the World Assembly of Builders of Peace gathering at Warsaw, Poland, in May 1977. Interestingly, Willard attended as one of many delegates from Connecticut (along with friends Howard Parsons, Alan Thomson, and Louis Zemel), while Ruth noted that she was a delegate from Florida. Meetings took place in Poland's Palace of Culture. Also includes correspondence with the U.S. Peace Council.
