Oil Painting of Robert "Bob' Tully

This World War II collection relates to Robert C. Watson, an African American soldier who served in the Navy during World War II. It contains a page of the roll call from the 316th Port Company with Robert C. Watson's name. There are also news articles and comics from the base. There are photographs of Robert C. Watson's unit and his Veteran's questionnaire. There is also an article he wrote about his experience as a black man who appeared white in the Navy.

The Robert Carr Collection contains two photo albums, and ephemera documenting the Florida East Coast Railroad and the United States Naval Training School.

The Robert D. Carson Collection contains a photograph of the Broward County Courthouse, Jan Hankowski photographer, completed Oct. 1949, an aerial photograph of Broward County ca. 1976, and a report titled "Soil Survey of Broward County Area, Florida", 1977.

The Robert Drake Collection contains photographs, ephemera, maps, correspondence, and stock certificates documenting the professional career of Joseph W. Young, Jr. and Hollywood, Florida.

Photocopies of papers about Confederate Army Papers of Robert E. Lester, who served as Second Lieutenant in Company C, Fifth Florida Calvary. The Regiment was composed of eight companies of cavalry under the command of Colonel George W. Scott. D.W. Gwynn was Captain of Company C.

This collection contains a manusript written by Robert E. Smith where he recounts his memories of World War II as a child in the United States.
