This collection contains personal letters and documents from Lawrence J. Smith, a former United States House of Representative from Florida. Some of these letters relate directly to Middle-East policy before and after the 1991 Persian Gulf War, such as sells of arms to Kuwait, and actions of sanctions against Iraq for its attack on Israel. Additional documents and letters depict policy towards Soviet and Central and South American immigration, NRA policy, and enforcement/crackdown of illegal narcotics.

Lawrence Reineke served in the US Air Corps as an intelligence officer in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska (April-October 1943), and overseas on Saipan and Iwo Jima (October 1944-October 1945). Reineke was trained in Miami Beach, Florida. This collection includes a manuscript of various diaries concerning the Aleutians campaign, a manuscript of Reineke's personal experiences on Iwo Jima (including a visit 40 years later), a book on the First Special Service Force, a manuscript of various diaries of interned airmen, and a manuscript of personal accounts of the Aleutians campaign. These manuscripts include those from U.S. Marines, airmen, and soldiers, including Japanese soldiers.

This collection consists of the LGBTQ+ publication LCN Express in Central Florida from the years 1984 through 1996. In 1996 the name changed to Community Link, of which this collection contains eight issues in the year 1996.

Scrapbooks and papers of The League of Women Voters of Miami-Dade County, including articles, correspondence, awards, certificates, descriptions of projects, proposed amendments, flyers, and accomplishments.

The records of the League of Women Voters, Tallahassee Chapter, are comprised primarily of administrative files, publications, and subject files and document 55 years of Tallahassee League activities including the organization of conventions and meetings, coordination of league activities, and the chapter's relationship with the League of Women Voters of the United States.

This collection contains papers, reports, and various documents surrounding the creation of and operation of Learning Resources. It includes the creation of FAU's first seal. The collection's date range is 1962 to 1992.
