The correspondence consists of two letters, dated May 29, 1842 and July 23, 1843, from Elisa Hatch to Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Comings, sent from Jacksonville, Florida. The writer describes to her brother and sister, in Greensboro, Vermont, her thoughts and experiences while living on the Florida frontier, two years prior to Florida's admission to statehood.

The collection contains items and memorabilia related to Florida State College for Women (FSCW), including a scrapbook and photographs.

The Elizabeth "Budd" Bell collection mostly consists of research materials and administrative documents related to her work on human services issues in Florida as an activist and coordinator of the Clearinghouse on Human Services.  Research materials include news and scholarly articles, policy papers, reports, draft legislation, bill summaries and analysis. Administrative materials for the Clearinghouse and Budd Bell Foundation include establishment papers, public issue statements, memos, correspondence with advocacy organizations and lawmakers, and conference planning materials.

The Elizabeth Byrd Taylor Scrapbook consists of photographs and ephemeral items related to her years as a Florida State College for Women student from 1922 to 1926.

The items in the collection include correspondence, programs, and other student ephemera and memorabilia. (See box list.)

Two scrapbooks belong to Elizabeth Nickinson with photos, newspaper clippings and other ephemera

This collection relates to the service of Elizabeth O'Farrell, who served in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps during World War II. She received training to be a physical therapy technician, and served at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital from 1943-1944, and then at Glenview Naval Hospital in Illinois from 1944-1945.
