Biographical sketch of William Hankins; current and historical materials relating to the economic development of Florida; holograph notes; 68-page holograph looseleaf book listing names and addresses and pertinent information about sawmills in Florida; group of 61 pictures of timberlands and sawmills in South Florida, some aerial topographic; holograph and photocopies of holograph maps of 23 Florida counties consisting of 403 sheets, some colored; Edison flat discs relating to timber and lumber industry in Florida; clippings from newspapers and 'The Southern Lumber Journal' relating to forests, sawmills and equipments for sawmills in Florida; description and history of river boats in Florida with names of their captains, and 12 books relating to forestry, timberlands and sawmills in Florida.

The William G. Crawford Provident Hospital Collection consists of two pieces of correspondence sent from Dr. Von D. Mizell and the Provident Hospital Assocation to Martin Frost. The first piece is a Provident Hospital Association fundraising letter from Feburary 1943, and the second is a letter from Dr. Von Mizell to Martin Frost regarding his campaign for the Broward County School Board, 10 Mar 1948 written on Dr. Mizell Clinic Letterhead.

This collection contains personal correspondence from 1922-1963, and research notes on Tallahassee education, the West Florida Seminary, the Florida State College for Women, and related topics. Also included are copies of a column in the Tallahassee Democrat entitled, "I remember ... in the Big Bend," and honorary awards. There are also notes on research for his book, Florida State College for Women: notes of the formative years. Additional subjects include Francis T. Dodd correspondence, Florida State University, Josephine White Dodd, Dorothy Dodd letters, William Faulkner, Tallahassee schools, and letters to Owen Rush.

This collection relates to Colonel William G. Walker Jr., and his service in the Army and Army Air Force during World War II in the European/Pacific Theater of Operation. The collection consists of a manuscript he wrote for his grandchildren describes his experiences in the during the war years and includes some photos of himself and aircrafts. He shares a timeline of his time in World War II, starting with his enlistment and training as a pilot shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He also includes certain anecdotes of missions he carried out in Newfoundland and the Owi islands, including naming the specific aircrafts he used.

This collection relates to William H. Jenner (5th Ranger Battalion, U.S. Army). He served from 1942-1945.  Jenner was a Technician Fourth Grade (TEC 4) and wire chief in charge of communications. The collection contains two photographs of William H. Jenner, a copy of an Extract of his Award of Bronze Star Medal, a copy of his Separation Qualification Record, badges, a copy of his Honorable Discharge and a copy of his Enlisted Record and Report of Separation.  There are also two copies of his Veteran Questionnaire. A full transcript of an oral history conducted on November 13-14, 1999 is part of this collection as well.

This collection relates to U.S. Navy Electrician's Mate First Class William I. Criste who served during World War II with GROPAC 11, Section E-9. The materials relate to the battle, work, and life on Iwo Jima, including more than 100 photographs, military documents, and Japanese military artifacts.

This collection consists of correspondence between May M. Jennings, Dr. Edward Conradi, Governor Doyle E. Carlton and others regarding the presentation of the tablet from the Battleship "Florida" to Bryan Hall of the Florida State College for Women, Tallahassee, Florida, on November 14, 1930. The tablet was placed in Bryan Hall to honor Senator Bryan.
