This collection will consist of physical media that has been digitized as well as information on the digital files. These will include video materials such as CDs, DVDs, videocassettes, miniDVD cassettes, and similar items. In all cases, the items have been converted digitally and will be accessible by the Islandora interface. This collection will consist of a 'file' for each item to provide additional access.

This collection relates to Staff Sergeant Philip Sperling who served with Headquarters Detachment, 325th Medical Battalion, which was assigned to the 100th Infantry Division during World War II. The collections primarily contain letters. Also included in the collection is currency, postcards, newspaper clippings, photographs, artifacts, and souvenirs. The collection also includes his government correspondence before and after his discharge from the Army.

Southwest Florida (SWFL) has a unique environmental ecosystem consisting of preserves, sanctuaries, swamps, estuaries, and coastlines. The Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council Collection offers an extensive array of documents, reports, maps, and materials documenting the development and conservation of the SWFL region from the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council.

Artists' books are a platform for personal expression created without censorship or outside influence. They are a medium of expression that employs the structure of a book as an inspiration while challenging the conventional contents of a printed volume. Artists' books are produced in limited numbers and are classified as works of art, typically produced by a single creator. The Artists' Book Collection features books from the 1970s to present day.

This collection includes the scrapbook and journal from her bike trip, family photos, and correspondence from various stages of her life. Also included are projector slides, Sierra Club awards, an energy map of Southwest Florida, posters, bumper stickers, Happehatchee flyers, and pictures of her Florida home, which later became a part of Happehatchee. The largest part of this collection is the newspapers documenting her effort to save the planet.

Information pertaining to and about the library, including but not limited to blueprints, brochures, correspondence, events, news articles, pamphlets, plans, posters, reports, and schematic designs. Also includes material from past exhibits held in the Archives and Special Collections Gallery.

The Susan Evans Papers include various materials surrounding her long serving term, such as items from Florida Gulf Coast University founding, campus planning, history, and athletics. Forms of media included text, photographs, VHS tapes, physical objects and letters. Topics and subjects range from University Groundbreaking to Susan Evans's time as a Vice President. The first part of this collection includes Series Athletics, Campus Planning, History and one Sub-Series Objects and Ephemera. The second part of her collection includes Series Early Years, Presidential Search, Events, FGCU Early Years Event Photography. The third and last part of this collection is, FGCU VHS Collection, Charlotte County Site Selection, Football Feasibility Study, FGCU News Article Releases.

The Bower School of Music Recitals collection is a digital collection of performances by FGCU's Bower School of Music students and faculty and include instrumental chambers, symphonic bands, piano recitals, etc.

This collection contains primarily consists promotional materials and documents related to founding of FGCU's Alumni Association.
