Many of these materials deal with aviation on the European theatre in general, only mentioning the impact of the 97th in context of the larger war. Others deal more specifically with the events and members of the 97th Bomb Group, covering specific planes (including the Memphis Belle,) specific individuals (including Herman Lykins,) or of specific squadrons.
