This folder contains a copy of a letter from Agnes, written in 1989, referring to her experience of giving birth to Deborah. When she sent a cable to Albert announcing the birth, she used a code which the two of them often wrote in (related to Alice in Wonderland), which Naval Intelligence Officers believed to be a coded message to the enemy. She was briefly interrogated while in the hospital.
