This series contains collected postcards, brochures, and tourist papers related to theme parks and attractions outside of the state of Florida. Subseries 1 contains vertical files of various American attractions in original order. Subseries 2 and 3 are arranged by like item, then alphabetically. Also of interest is the Disney subseries, which contains records relating to Walt Disney World and Disneyland, as well as financial reports for the Walt Disney Company. The AAA subseries contains guidebooks for the state of Florida and beyond, as well as a number of Rand McNally guides.

Series IV holds materials relevant to the academic life of the University including activities under the auspices of the V.P. for Academic Affairs C. B. Gambrell, faculty activities and organizations, and Commencement ceremonies. Photographs of 1974 Commencements includes images of Fred E. Clayton, Director of Physical Planning receiving his honorary degree. Academic planning materials include broad visions for the university, planning conferences, plans for specific programs such as engineering and teacher education, and advertising materials for the university. Photographs of administrators Charles N. Micarelli, Bernard Ostle and C. C. Miller are held in this series. Among the faculty materials is documentation concerning a period of discontent between faculty and administration that became a serious issue in 1976. A small subseries documents regional campuses; represented among these materials are the Florida Solar Energy Center, Brevard and South Orlando. Every Commencement ceremony is documented here by programs and running order lists with additional correspondence and photographs concerning Richard M. Nixon's visit in 1973. This folder includes photographs of presentations made to Dr. and Mrs. Millican afterwards by O. T. Due of Dobbs Bindery and Susan Grasty, President of the FTU Women's Club.

Series VII holds materials concerned with the President's activities. Here may be found his speeches, calendar, photographs, interviews in the press and on reel to reel tape, information about a bust created and a portrait painted of him, certificates of appreciation, and the extensive correspondence that was sent to him on his appointment and on his resignation. The list at the front of the congratulatory messages does not correspond to the letters. Information concerning a video may be found in the Florida Legislature folder for 1977. Some miscellaneous materials, such as, a c.v. showing Dr. Millican's later activities, a check signed by Millican for the first Pegasus yearbook and a reel to reel tape of Millican conducting the FTU Philharmonic Orchestra may be found here. A photograph shows Orange County Commissioner Jack Martin presenting the Millican Day Proclamation. Another photograph shows Dr. Millican and J. P. Goree with Colleen Brown who was Dr. Millican's first secretary. A color transparency mentioned in the folder of resignation correspondence may be found in a separate folder. Finally, the miscellaneous photographs are mostly images of groups of administrators or staff including some of Mrs. Millican and a color transparency of the University emblem.

Series VI holds materials concerned with public relations activities, such as interaction with the Orlando Chamber of Commerce and the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce, and donor relations. Photographs document campus visits by Miss America winners Judith Ford and Dorothy Benham as well as of the University's famous 1977 Homecoming Queen Rita Reutter. A photograph of William Warden may also be found here and images of Don Tauscher presenting a check to Dr. Millican.

Series V begins with correspondence relating to visitation between male and female students followed by a report on ways to improve the university experience for students. Photographs of Rex Brown and W. Dan Chapman follow. Extensive correspondence on the process of choosing a University mascot and the proclamation of FTU week are highlights of this series. A photograph shows Mayor Carl Langford presenting the proclamation to Dr. Millican and Student President Gary Andersen. Only a few materials relate to sport together with photographs of the FTU soccer team, basketball coach Torchy Clark and assistant Ray Ridenou. A third photograph celebrates the FTU Goldsox Baseball Club and shows Frank Rohter, C. C. Miller, Dr. Millican and student Allen Tuttle wearing baseball caps. Finally, the series concludes with documentation concerning the choice of the Alma Mater together with reel to reel tapes, and thin vinyl records of the chosen song , and a reel to reel tape with both that song and the second choice.
