This folder contains four publications which belonged to the Hasterlik-Hine family. The first is a book called Der Juden Spiegel (The Jew's Mirror), written by Johannes Pfefferkorn and published in 1601. The second is a book called Maerchen (Fairy Tales), which was published by Hilda Koritschoner in 1919 (Item 5127). The third is an edition of a magazine titled Wort in der Zeit (Word in the Time), an Austrian literary magazine which was published in 1956 (Item 4991). Finally, there is a copy of the L'Express Magazine from March 1965. This specific edition address the communist party in France and around the globe.

This folder contains a copy of a scientific article by Rudolph Keller about vital staining by fluroscent dyes from the Biological Bulletin, in addition to childhood letters from Michael Weiss to Mia Hasterlik. There is also correspondence between Mia and Boni, Susi Weiss and Giulia Koritschoner. Additionally, there are letters between Auguste "Gusti" Hasterlik and Paul Elbogen. Much of the correspondence between Mia and Boni addresses the cast that Mia has to wear on her leg, Boni's work on his book chapter, Maminka's health problems and death, and their continuing feelings for one another.

This folder contains correspondence between Mia Hasterlik and Boni about Boni's plans to visit Mia in New York City for Christmas and about Boni's impressions of the United States. There is also a letter from Gretli Sigerist, Giulia Koritschoner's "foster sister" from Schaffhausen, Switzerland during the war years, to Giulia. There is a copy of fifteen-page short story which Giulia wrote, titled "You Mean the Animal, A Bull?" There is correspondence between Giulia and Mia about Boni's visit to Giulia in Stoneham, Chicago, and correspondence between Mia and Boni about Boni's travels throughout the United States and difficulty conducting business as an Austrian. There is also correspondence between the family regarding their thoughts about Eisenhower.

This folder contains correspondence between Mia Hasterlik and Giulia Koritschoner, Susi Weiss and Boni. Much of the correspondence between Mia and Boni is about his continuing difficulty to obtain permission to travel to the United States to visit Mia and, later, letters about Boni's time in Chicago and plans to visit Mia in New York for Christmas. There is a copy of Giulia's naturalization papers and corresopndence between family members about the 1952 election of Eisenhower.

This folder contains a binder with photocopies of correspondence between the family and friends of Hans Gerhard Hine between 1935 and 1956. Additionally, this folder contains family documents for the Hine and Schiff families, such as a Stammbuch for the Heine-Schiff family; residence, marriage, baptisimal and vaccination certificates; Hans Gerhad Hine's report cards; an affadavit given by Clara Stern to the city of New York in an attempt to secure a visa certificate for Hans Gerhard Hine; and, finally, a copy of Hans Gerhard Hine's identification certificate from Switzerland which includes a photograph of him.

This folder contains two portfolios which contain photographs of the Hasterlik-Hine family. This includes photographs of unidentified family members, in addition to landscape photographs which have handwritten notes in German on the back of them.
