Recollections of Technical Sergeant John Lenburg about his experiences as a prisoner of war in camp Stalag Luft IV, near the village of Gros Tychow in Pomerania, and the following forced 800 kilometer march from 6 February 1945 to 26 April 1945.

This folder contains nine letters and post cards sent to Mckee Sr. at Stalag XVIIB by friends and family including his mother Lillian Mckee and sister Dorothy McKee Forsyth. Also included are two letters sent from Mckee Sr. from Stalag XVIIB to his mother Lillian. A handwritten note by Mckee Sr. documents letters sent and received with dates, as well as all parcels with a description of contents receceived by Mckee Sr. One laminated photograph collage contains annotations of clandestine photographs taken at the P.O.W. camp. A laminated photograph of Mckee Sr. shows washing cloths with a fellow P.O.W. A laminated photocopy of a pencil sketch P.O.W. barracks scene is included. Finally, a Red Cross best wishes note card is included.
