This collection contains an assortment of personal belongings of Carlos Barnett and his family and their transition to the United States. This includes personal letters, immigration papers, photographs, negatives of photographs, obituaries, and personal mementos, including of religious beliefs.

The Abril Lamarque papers date from 1904-2002. The collection documents the life and career of Cuban-born cartoonist, designer, illustrator, graphic artist, caricaturist, and art director Abril Lamarque through printed materials, scrapbooks, writings, and original artwork. The collection includes examples of his cartoons and caricatures, these include clippings of the comic strip Monguito.

This collection consists of six advertising trade cards published by the Company of Products Cibils and six by the Liebig's Extract of Meat Company. The front of each card has a color illustration and a caption title in French or English. The titles are taken from the cards as they were, while those in French are translated for better access. The back of each card has the company's advertisement, additionally Liebig's includes in some their recipe and states to beware of imitations and require the signature J.v.LIEBIG in blue ink. The main subject of the images is Cuba, depicting tobacco plantations, the sugar cane industry, local markets, ports and ships. All of these made the island attractive for visitors and business people.

The collection of Dana A. Dorsey is comprised of the legal and financial records of his vast real estate holdings. Mortgages, leases, rental and loans agreements represent the focus of the collection. Of special interest to researchers are those documents which detail the growth of both black and white Miami, deeds which describe in detail the properties and location of what were the newly created sub-divisions in the city. In a period of racial segregation these documents show a blurring of racial lines as exemplified by Dana Dorsey business relations with the founding families of the city.

The materials in this collection gather resources to aid in the research of the commercial, eclesiastical, economic, and geographical history of Cienfuegos, Cuba, as well as featuring texts on important figures and locations. It includes full texts and editions of regional newspapers, as well as the more intimate look at sketches, blueprints, seals, and correspondence, postcards, and business cards.

This collection includes a manuscript of Bruce D. Epperson's book about the finance and technology of the first modern highways in the South including: Ingraham Highway, Tamiami Trail, and Conners Highway. It includes news articles and magazine clippings, ranging from 1899 to 1953, that detail the advancement of the road systems through Florida due to the 1920s Florida land boom and the creation of a highway funding system based on fuel taxes. The collection also details maps that show highways as they were before and after their development.

Esta colección contiene 36 cromolitografías numeradas sobre el tema de la Guerra Hispano-Cubano-Estadounidense (1895-1898). Es una serie completa que fue publicada por Chocolate E. Juncosa. La fábrica de chocolates de Evaristo Juncosa, con sede en Barcelona, emitió una serie de tarjetas comerciales, una forma popular de publicidad utilizada por las empresas de la época. El anverso de cada tarjeta tiene una ilustración a color, un número y un título, mientras que el reverso tiene el anuncio publicitario de la empresa. Los títulos se toman de las tarjetas tal como estaban, lo que puede mostrar errores ortográficos, ya que algunas palabras se escribían de manera diferente en el siglo XX que ahora.

The Ramiro Casanas Collection provides a look into the Casanas Family's longtime passion for collecting. The collection's primary focus is on pieces that document Cuban history during the nineteenth and twentieth century. It features Cuban artwork, handwritten poetry, cigar boxes, periodicals, and sports paraphernalia. Also included are artifacts from around the world, such as international banknotes, political ephemera, maps, and photographs.

La colección incluye periódicos, correspondencia, documentos oficiales y papeles personales sobre el comunismo, con un enfoque en las Américas. La mayor parte de la colección se centra en los exiliados cubanos del regimen de Fidel Castro, y se incluyen noticias internacionales sobre el comunismo. Adicionalmente, la colección incluye documentos del Directorio Revolucionario Estudiantil en México y su organizaciones aliadas, con documentos personales de líderes de la DRE como Ángel Fernández González. La mayor parte de los ducumentos incluídos en la colleccion estan en español.
