Music books have been cataloged and relocated to Rare Books. Rabbi Rose (1901-1987) was born in Berezhany in what is modern-day Ukraine. He came to the United States with his family in 1910. Rabbi Rose also served as the first president of the Cantors Assembly and the Department of Music of the United Synagogue of America.
