Collector, Ms. Carol Mundy amassed this collection of monographs, manuscripts, sheet music, pamphlets, journals, newspapers, broadsides, posters, photographs, and rare ephemera focusing on the African American history. While the collection is comprehensive both nationally and internationally, it also contains materials that pertain to the African American experience in central Florida.

This series contains audio and visual items such as a vinyl record and comedy film movie. Materials range from letters and envelopes, official government documents, business documents, postcards, holiday cards, and invitations. There are military buttons, pins, and patches and a Civil War Veterans Metal. Photographs consisted in this series are African American men, women, and children and include group photos and places. There are many different newsclippings, articles, programs, and advertisements.

Adoption records remain at the CHSFL Adoption Archive and are available by contacting the society directly.

This collection consists of the papers of United States Navy Admiral Richard H. Leigh. They include a 17-volume holograph diary, dating 1917-1944, containing official orders, holograph and typed letters, newspaper clippings, printed programs, maps, pictures, and other related items. Also included is a four volume set of personal papers, and a book which Leigh entitled, Whereas, which consists of newspaper clippings, family pictures, programs, doctor bills, and other materials. Many of these documents relate to the history and development of the United States Navy, World War I, and events leading to the conflict with Japan and World War II.

This collection consists of six advertising trade cards published by the Company of Products Cibils and six by the Liebig's Extract of Meat Company. The front of each card has a color illustration and a caption title in French or English. The titles are taken from the cards as they were, while those in French are translated for better access. The back of each card has the company's advertisement, additionally Liebig's includes in some their recipe and states to beware of imitations and require the signature J.v.LIEBIG in blue ink. The main subject of the images is Cuba, depicting tobacco plantations, the sugar cane industry, local markets, ports and ships. All of these made the island attractive for visitors and business people.
