Not only are they vital for aquatic life, but they serve an essential role in protecting us. Their sturdy roots and dense canopy prevent hurricanes from completely destroying our property. With the rise in population and infrastructure in our state, these vital forests are rapidly shrinking."

Though the American Flamingo's population has dissipated from Florida Ecosystems, the Roseate Spoonbills have maintained their presence."
