The biographical vertical files consist of articles from local publications including, but not limited to, the following: La Gaceta, The Tampa Tribune, The St. Petersburg Times and the Miami Herald. These files may contain feature length articles or obituary notices.

Collection related to the Civil Rights Movement in Florida Conference that took place at USF St. Petersburg in 2004.

This collection contains photographs taken by George Fulmer of Clearwater, Florida and the surrounding areas in the mid-twentieth century. It includes 236 silver gelatin prints and 279 negatives. The photographs primarily document the postwar growth of the area through photos of hotels, apartments, local businesses, and community events.

The materials in the Jordan Park Collection nearly were discarded; the good fortune of the preservation of these items is considerable. Poynter Library received the various photographs, property records, maps, documents, and scrapbooks from Dayton Stone in June 2009. These materials depict the Jordan Park residential units built by the St. Petersburg Housing Authority.
