Scope and content:

This series contains research materials created and collected by Archimedes L. A. Patti for use in his writing projects. Most of the materials within this series are collected and/or photocopied monographic material on which Patti wrote his research notes. So as to preserve as much of Patti's organizational order as possible, this series has been organized by both subject area and types of materials. Subject area materials are believed to be sorted by Patti and have been organized as such. Files on specific persons, Patti's correspondence and his chronological files also retain his original order. Various topographical maps on Indochina, scrapbooks, draft copies of Patti's published book in 8 inch floppy disks, and subject index cards created by Patti can also be found in this series. It also includes an audio tape, narrated by Patti, documents his journey to Hanoi in 1986.
