This survey of the male bathhouse is compiled from web and print advertisements over many years, and it documents the largely unseen world of over 110 bathhouses and sex clubs on four continents. Although many bathhouses were closed during the 80's and 90's, over six hundred are listed worldwide, and they remain a venue for initiation, excitement, condemnation, and fantasy.
