This folder contains two documents from the US Air Force addressed to Donald Ackerman. One details his retirement from the Air force after 21 years of service with the rank of Major, including an equipment record signed by Ackerman. The second is a general order for Ackerman to receive the Air Medal for acehievement in aerial missions over occupied Continental Europe.
