This folder consists of the retirement order for Joseph F. Dunn along with records related to his service in the U.S. Air Force from 1964-1967. The folder includes a letter dated, December 31, 1964 requesting an overseas assignment and seeking deployment to Vietnam along with the copy of letter from Dunn to U.S. Senator Everett Dirksen protesting his assignment to a staff position at Tan Son Nhut Airfield instead of flying a C-123 aircraft with the 315th Air Commando Group.
