This folder contains orders related to Joseph F. Dunn being awarded the Air Medal (Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster) in 1945. A general order issued by the Headquarters of the Sixth Bombardment Group in 1945 announced that members of the 39th Bombardment Squadron could wear the Air Offensive, Japan Campaign Star is also in this folder. General Order No. 26 issued by the 20th Air Force issued on August 8, 1945 in this folder announces the awarding of the Distinguished Flying Cross to Dunn for a bombing mission against Kobe, Japan aiding in the destruction of four and half square miles of the city.
