Drawings from Margaret's Children, 1943
- Containers:
- 10.0018 - Box 1, Folder 003
- Scope and content:
This folder includes drawings from Margaret's children. The drawings are mostly completed on the back side of a voting ballot for the Riverside County, Highgrove elementary School District's School Trustee. Others are completed on brown drawing paper. The pictures each depict battle scenes from World War II, presumably what the boys had been shown the war represented. The drawings show the insignia of the Nazi Germany being fought against by the United States forces. The pictures display the American forces as being more victorious, which may present the view that the boys were being shared this information in school and by the press.
