Press Releases, 1976-1994

Scope and content:

UCF and FTU sports press releases were sent out to local and national media as a way of relaying scores, statistics, as well as team and departmental events. The press releases featured in this series were collected by the athletics department. Likely due to personnel and duty changes over the years, the collection of sports press releases became inconsistent. Some years are missing entirely while the organization of some years vary by date and by sport. The first subseries arranges UCF and FTU press releases by date while the second subseries arranges them by type of sport. The third subseries contains press releases that were hard bound chronologically and are shelved.
