- Scope and content:
Two documents, including a form sent by Lt. Butler to the commanding general of he 44th AAA Brigade requesting to use the property of the Berchtesgaden-Hof as a "transient hotel for officers." This is followed by a listing of the hotel's spacial qualities and utilities available. A letter of transmittal for the formal approval of the request is dated September 10, 1945 is attached on top of this form, despite its use as such since July.
