Scope and content:

Donated by Lois Jackson in 2011, the collection consists of 24 processed 8mm film reels (3 are damaged). The date range of the footage comes from 1956 and the rest mostly from circa 1960s with specific films dated 1961 and 1964. The contents include visits to: Port Canaveral; DeLeon Springs, Cypress Gardens, Sanibel/Captiva Island, Downtown Cape Coral, Silver Springs, the 1964 World's Fair in New York City, the Shamrock Hotel in Houston, Texas, Austin, Texas, Greer's Ferry Dam, Arkansas, driving through Washington, D.C., Christmas celebrations, fishing trips, and visiting Fort Niagara and Lake Ontario.
