- Scope and content:
The second series contains maps of the Southeastern portion of the United States. It includes maps of Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. The first subseries of general atlas maps includes maps from the Rand McNally System of Geography. Road maps follow, then topographical land maps. Of interest in this subseries are maps on climate. Finally, political maps of the southeast conclude the series.
