This folder includes a photocopy of newspaper clippings of an article titled, "Picture of Lieut. Louetta Carter Publicized As That of Typical American Army Nurse" by Hallie Lannert. The article follows Lieutenant Louetta Carter from Africa, to the Middle East, to Sicily, to Italy. It talks about her serving at Deaconess hospital before joining the Army Nurse Corps in 1942, her working with an English hospital unit, her missing magazines and radio, her encountering "insistent" flies, and her meeting old schoolmates while abroad.
