- Scope and content:
This folder contains three copies of the Barbarian, a paper released by the Naval Air Station at Barber's Point, Oahu. The papers contain news pertinent to the navy/military, Hawaii, reports on local activities and sports, and postings of religious services. The edition from October 12th, 1945, is in a traditional newspaper format, while the editions from December 5, 1945, and January 5, 1946, are formatted more similarly to pamphlets and feature some color ink.
