Clifford Prince Letters to Irene Prince, January 1945
- Containers:
- 19.0008 - Box 1, Folder 009
- Scope and content:
This folder contains letters from Clifford Prince to his wife, Irene as he chronicled his time in San Diego and his day trips to Mexico. He took pictures in the San Diego zoo and sent them home. He hoped to go on leave towards the end of the month. He wrote about how much he missed home, and wished he could see his family. One of his relatives, Happy, thought thought he was going to be drafted and Prince said to be a fireman in the Navy rather than a seaman for better pay and more leave eligibility. He also was transferring to a new base but he didn't know where yet.
