Clifford Prince Letters to Irene Prince, October 1944

Containers:
19.0008 - Box 1, Folder 006
Scope and content:

This folder contains letters from Clifford Prince to his wife, Irene, as he chronicles his times in San Diego and his trips to Los Angeles and Mexico. He visits men in the army and says how glad he is that he's in the navy because their living conditions were poor and they didn't have a lot to eat. He attends the U.S.O shows when he is not on duty. His job is sitting at a gate and letting sailors in and out and confiscating items prohibited inside the base such as whiskey. He wishes to be home more than anything.
